What does a BI Developer at Van der Wal do?
You work in an international transport company with an upfront and informal culture. You become part of our small yet growing IT team in Utrecht.
You will support integrating our logistic solutions into the processes of well-known international companies. Therefore, you develop the code, structure and solutions to enable the best use of data for customers and internal use.
In your hands, our data flows smoothly, and new connections are bulletproof.
You enjoy doing this:
✔ Develop & maintain our data warehouse
✔ Design & implement scalable data pipelines
✔ Transform data from multiple sources into structured output
✔ Collaborate with domain experts, backend engineers and customers to solve data challenges
✔ Master both technical skills and business sense to become an analytical multiplier within the company

You recognize yourself in the following
✔ You are a service-minded developer with 3+ years experience
✔ You are communicative and you have a good command of Dutch and, or English
✔ Creative, quality-oriented and analytically powerful
And do you at least meet these requirements?
✔ Experience with SQL server and relational databases
✔ Knowledge of interfacing projects and API’s
✔ You are excited by Kimball and Data Vault analytical data modeling
✔ You understand data warehousing concepts and architecture in combination with ETL and reporting
